This website started as a sideline to another I own as a way of taking a break from research to it. Class 50's have always been a favourite class of mine

so I decided to compile as much information as I could about them including workings and sightings. I soon discovered that a wealth of information

from various sources and obsolete websites was available.

I never had any intention of putting this online, then decided it may be useful to others.

A domain name was obtained and the files uploaded to show online.

The idea is to put photos up against each of the class from over the years and the different liveries carried, hopefully submitted from photographers

out there.

This is very much a work in progress and will be worked at on and off with my other website.

I am not an expert on the class, so if you see something wrong or needs ammending please get in touch.

Anything in orange needs to be double checked as conflicting data from varying sources has been found.

If you wish to send me photos of Class 50's from any period please use class50info@gmail.com. Images must be your own, please supply date of the

image and location along with any other data you have. Train working etc. Credit for any images used will be applied, please advise of your name or

anonymous if preferred.
